About our Teacher:
Dr. Satyavati Kandala obtained her Ph.D. in Sanskrit and Religious Studies from the University of Bombay, India. She received her Master of Arts in Sanskrit Language and Literature and in Hindi Language and Literature from Andhra University, India where she graduated first in class. Dr. Kandala was given two Gold Medals for her excellence in academics. She has also received numerous academic awards and fellowships, which includes the University Grants Commission Research Associateship and the Sir William Jones Research Fellowship at the Asiatic Society of India. She was the Honorary Principal at the Academy of Sanskrit Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Calcutta. Currently, Dr. Kandala teaches at several places including the Vedanta Society and at the International Society of Divine Love in Los Angeles, California. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
