56.alasa vilasan mugDha snigDHa

     smitham vrajasundharee

     madhana kadhana svinnam Dhanyam

     mahadh vadhanaambujam

     tharunam aruNajyothsnaa kaarthsnyaa

     smitha snapithaaDharam

     jayathi vijayaSreNeem

     eNeedhrSaam madhayan mahaH

May the enchanting light, madhayan mahaH, that is Krishna, with loving smile, slow to appear and pretty, alasa vilasan mugDha snigDha smitham, and who is  sweating, svinnam, due to playing with the gopis, vrajasundharee madhanakadhanam, in whose face, pure and lustrous, Dhanyam mahadh vadhanaambujam,  the lower lip shines like a beautiful red moon bathed with his smile, tharunam aruNajyothsnaa kaarthsnyaa smitha snapitha aDharam, and who is the line of victory, vijayaSreNee, of the deer-eyed gopis,eNeedhrSaam, be victorious.

The smile of Krishna slowly starting and spreading to his lower lip making it shine like a red moon with its lustre, is pretty and expresses love. His body is marked with sweat with playing with the gopis in rasakreeda. Leelasuka calls him the line of victory of gopis , who seem to be the pillars of victory , jayasthambha, of his locve.

57.raaDhaakelikataaksha veekshitha

     mahaavakshasThalee mandanaa

     jeeyaasuH pulakaankuraaH

     thribhuvana svaadheeyasas thejasaH

     kreedaanthaprathisuptha dugDha

     thanayaa mugDhaavabhoDhakshaNa

     thraasaarooDa dhrDopagoohana

     mahaasaamraajya saandhraSriyaH

May the broad chest of  Krishna, mahaavakshasThalee, who is the light, delightful in all the three worlds, thribhuvana svaadheeyasaH thejasaH,  and the glory of the great empire of joy, , mahaasaamraajya saandhraSriyaH, marked by the horripilation, pulakaankuraH,  due to being glanced by Radha  in love sport, raaDhaakelikataaksha veekshitha,   and the close embrace , dhrDopagoohana of Rukmini, dugDhathanayaa, on waking from sleep out of fear, mugDhaavabhoDhakshaNa thraasaarooDa dhrDopagoohana, be victorious.

dugDha thanaya may mean Lakshmi but in this context it looks more appropriate to take the word to eman Rukmini who is the incarnation of Lakshmi. She wakes up from sleep and embrae Krishna tightly ourt of fear perhaps dreaming that he left her.

thribhuvanasvaadheeyasasthejas- the glory of Krishna  is enjoyed by all the three worlds.

mahaasaamraajya saandhraSree- His is the dense bliss of the empire of love.

58.smitha snutha suDhaaDharaa

     madhaSikhandibarhaankithaa

     viSaalanayanaambujaa

     vrajavilaasineevaasithaaH

     manojna mukhapankajaa

     maDhura veNunaadhadhravaa

     jayanthi mama chethasaH

      chiram upaasithaa vaasanaaH

My mental impressions, mama chethasaH vaasanaaH, meditated for long, chiram upaasithaaH namely, the nectarine lower lip, suDhaa adharaaH, of Krishna bathed in smiles, smitha snutha, the peacock feather on his head, madhaSikhandibarhaankithaaH, his large lotus-like eyes,viSaalanayanaambujaaH, and  who resides in the gopis, vrajavilaasineevilaasithaah, his attractive lotus face, manojnamukhapankajaaH, and the sweet music of his flute maDhuraveNu naadha dhravaaH, are successful, jayanthi.

59. jeeyaath asou Sikhi Sikhanda krthaavathamsaa

      saamsidDhikee sarasakaanthi suDhaasamrdDhiH

      yadhbindhuleSa kaNikaa parimaaNa bhaaghya

      soubhaagyaseema padham anchathi panchabaaNaH

May this ocean of nectar, suDhaasamrdDhiH, which  naturally shines with beauty, saamsidDhikee sarasakanthi, wearing the peacock feather as the head ornament, Sikhi Sikhanda krthaavathamsaa, and by the particles of the drop, bindhulesakaNikaa, of which the god of Love, panchabaaNaH, had the good fortune to attain the status of being the limit of beauty, parimaaNabhaagya soubhaagyaseemaa, be victorious.

Krishna is the ocean of nectar, the beauty of whom is natural and so much superior to that of the god of love that the latter has the forune of being so because of the small particle of a drop from the ocean that is Krishna, who is the sea of love, and beauty, soundharya laharee and sringaaralaharee.

Th god of love ManmaTha is referred to as pancbaanaH, the five arrowed one, as five flowers, lotus, ashoka flower, mango flower, jasmine and blue lotus are said to be his arrows in aiming at  people with love.

60. aayaamena dhrSoH viSaalatharayoH

      akshayyam aardhrasmitha

      Chayaa dharshitha Saaradhendhu lalitham

      Chaapalyamaathram SiSoH

      Aayaasaan aparaan viDhooya rasikaiH

      Asvaadhyamaanam muhuH

      Unmadhavallavee kucha

      bharaaDhaaram kiSoram mahaH

The light in the playful form of child Krishna , kiSoram mahaH,,  is made abundant, akshayyam, by his long eyes, viSaalatharayoH dhrSoH aayaamena, and the beauty of his loving smile, aardhrasmitha, vanquishes  the moon in autumn, Chaayaa dharShitha Saaradhendhu lalitham and supports the youthful form of the gopis (with love). Those who are attracted by him, rasikaiH, leave all the other works, aayaasam aparaan viDhooya, and enjoy the  child form of Krishna again and again, aasvaashyamaanam muhuH.

Those who enjoy the beautiful childhood form of Krishna are his devotees  as well as rasikas. They leave off all the other work, meaning that they are not interested in any other desire motivated activites nor in any other means of attainment of the Lord except enjoying His form and singing His glory , as Krishna says in Gita, `macchitthaa madhgathpraaNaah boDhayanthaH parasparam kaThayanthascha maam nithyam thushyanthi cha ramanthicha.'

" Those who always think about Me, their whole being engrossed in Me, communicate with each other, speak about Me always and get contented and enjoy it."
