       Srngaaraa girigairikam Siva Siva

       Sreemanthi barhaaNi cha

       Srngagraahikayaa thaThaapi

       Thadhidham praahuH thrilokeSvaram

The subjects, prajaaH, are the residents in huts, skanDhaavaarasadhaH. The associates, sahaayaadhayaH, are some cowherds, kathipaye gopaaH.. The rope tying the cow, vathsadhaamni, is the ornament on the shoulder, skanDhaalambini.. The patrons, DhanadhaaH, are gopis, gopaanganaaH, who are his own retinue, svaanganaaH.The decoration, SngaaraaH, is by the red stone from the mountain, girigairikam, and the beautiful peacock feathers, Sreemanthi barhaaNi. Rest could be understood by the principle of grasping the horn, srngagraahikayaa. Inspite of all this  he is called  the Lord of the three worlds, thrilokeSvaram praahuH. Siva!Siva!

This sloka is in the form of nindhasthuthi or praise in the guise of censure. It describes the soulabhya of the Lord of the universe incarnating as Krishna , the cowherd.

The nyaya of grasping the horn means when you catch an entity by its horn you have it in its entirety.
