Sri: SrimathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya nama: Dearest all, The parrot having realized that its words make her happy, continues to utter the Para, vyooha vibhava archA moorthis. Since she (Parakalanayaki) is not able to utter any more due to her suffering and languishing, the parrot sings about other Divye Desa perumAL as that is the thArakam for the nayaki. That is heard by mother as well and both are very happy and the mother narrates the same to her friend here. muLaikkathiraik kuRungudiyuL mugilai moovaa moovulagum kadandhappaal mudhalaay ninRa, aLappariya aaramudhai arangam mEya andhaNanai andhaNar_tham sindhai yaanai, viLakkoLiyai maragathatthaith thirutthaN gaavil veqhaavil thirumaalaip paadak kEttu 'vaLartthathanaal payanpeRREn varuga!' enRu madakkiLiyaik kaikooppi vangi NnaaLE. 14 muLai kathirai â like the bud He resides in the Solar system (as the indweller) (in ThirukkuRunkudi Divya Desam) uLmugilai â not just the clouds that hang around on top of the mountains; the ones that enter into the tall palaces of the divya desam as well moovaa moo ulagum â beyond the three worlds kadandhu appaal â there is Nithya vibhoothi (Srivaikunta divya lokam) mudhalaay ninRa- He is the unparalleled Lord of all worlds residing in that Srivaikuntam eternally aLappariya Aar amudhai â Immeasurable PoorNAnandhan; arangam mEya andhaNanani â The pristinely pure Sri Ranganathan; andhaNartham chinthaiyaanai â One who is always in the minds of Brahmins; ThirutthaNkaa â In the divya desam of ThirutthaNkaa, at Kanchipuram viLakkoLi maragathatthai â the precious emerald gem stone named ViLakkoLi perumAL; ve:kaavil thirumaalai â the Lord of Thiruve:kaa (or Sriya: Pathi- Thiru + maalai) paadak kaettu â enjoyed listening to the chirping /singing thus (as above) kiLiyE- oh parrot! By grooming you (or rearing you) payan petrEn- I have been richly benefited. Varuga- Please come near me (respectfully calling the parrtot towards her) Madak kiLiyai- had she enot taught- the parrot would have been ignorant of perumAL; to such a parrot Kaikooppi â folded her hands (as if this has helped her significantly) reverently vaNanginAL â she paid her namaskaram. yE- this is also a marvelâ and wonder. muLaikaathir- The dawning sun is most beautiful and shining to look at. He is bright. The eyes feel refreshened to see the same. Similarly, the Lord of Paramapadha nAThan is also showing Himself at every divya desams; also the soorya maNdala madhyasthE- (one who is an in-dweller of the Sun) is also referred to perhaps. Moovaa moovulagum- It can also mean âThe One who is above all three types of Jeevathmas- Baddhar, Mukthar, Nithyasuris appaal- Beyond the praakritha lokam (beyond Leela vibhoothi) Aramudhu- aLappariya Aramudhu- the insatiable nectar- the immeasurable One â yathO vaachO nivartthanthE; aprA Apya manasaa sa: - where the words can not reach; the mind also can not comprehend Him any further; viLakkoLiyai maragatthai- Here AzhwAr refers to the Sriya: Pathi Sriman Narayanan; the Lord along with Mahalakshmi; Swamy Desikan also mentions in Saranagati Deepikai- dheepa samaavapaasam AjAnathO maragatha prathimam vapus thEâ vaLartthadhanaaal- Here when Acharyas enjoy sishyasâ accurate and sincere utterances, they feel happy and praise them. But can one fold hand and pay obeisance? kaNNapuram thozhum piaLLaiyai piLlai yenRu yeNNapeRuvarEâ They only pay respect to the divine uttranes made by the disciples. Also the parrot is only a bird and not a sishya.. and hence one can fold hands and pay the pranamams. Or it may also mean â Parakala nayaki listening to those divine names of duvvya desams from parrot, folded hands and paid obeisance to those perumAL. Or Parakalanaayaki has been made happier and her languishing is now lessened by listening to parrot. She has been shown the divya desams and the names and hence she looks at the parrot like the very acharyan himself- it may be said. When the parrot said all these divya desams, perhaps the Lord Himself hass entered into the parrot for her sake and hence she folded her hands and paid obesisnace. Like Devahoothi and Kapila. Here it can also be mentioned abot Swamy Desikan refrring himself to the parrot that was groomed by his maternal uncle and acharyan Swami appuLLAr. Perhaps Parakala naayaki sees Swamy Desikan here and pays her obeisance to Vedantha acharyan.
