Dear Mr. Dhayalan:

If you can read and follow Tamil, try the word by word translation of not only the
Varadaraaja Panchaasath, but also the other 27 sthoothraas that Swaami Dheesika
composed in the book 'Sri Dheesika Sthoothramaalaa', by Sri Raama Dheeesikaachaar
Swaami of Oppiliappan Koil. The book has been published by The Little Flower Co. in Chennai
and I think it is still available at their bookstores in TNagar.

It is a divine contribution and the book costs only Rs. 60. I have thoroughly gone through it
and the translation and interpretation are excellent. If I can be allowed to indulge, I learnt
nearly 20 sthoothraas including Varadaraaja Panchaasath from this book. Two other great
works from Veedhaantha Dheesika are of course Dhayaa Sathakam (on Lord Baalaaji of Thirupathi)
and Nyaasa Thilakam (on Lord Ranganaathaa). Besides you also get the
three Dheevi Sthuthis - namely, Sri Sthuthi, Bhuu Sthuthi and Goodhaa Sthuthi. These are really
very precious and one can relish the greatness of these prayers through this book.

Hope you find this information useful.
