Learned members,

Those well versed in Tamil will agree Kattalai kali thuRai is a very difficult form of Tamil poetry. You know that Swami Desikan's work in this format are excellant as in his other forms of poetry. A Desikadasar, Sri A.S.Ranganatha Iyengar had proved that with the Blessings of Swami Desika, his adiyArs can also master this format. Please log into  http://tinyurl.com/2n56vp   and enjoy "DESIKAN VAZHI'  (தà¯?à®?ிà®?னà¯? வாழி) .The poet has chosen the Desikan Tanian and each one of the 18 paras start with a word from the Tanian the word used to open each line of that para. Enjoy the sampradhaya anubhavangaL weaved in each word of this excellant work. This was found in "SEVA" october 1957 issue.

dasan,

T.Raguveeradayal
