Subject: Fruit beyond Imagination Dear All,
Known as incomparabe in vedas and other text, Perumal has been
enjoyed in various Archa forms. Azhwars have never got satiated by the beauty of
this perumal. They have lot words to completely describe His beauty and His
appearance. He is known as AkkArakkani. What a lovely name given to
Him? One cannot plant sugar as a seed and reap the fruit in real-world
scenario. But if one is able to do so, then that fruit will be very tasty in
anubhavam. But the Perumal in this Divya Desam is sweeter than even
this unrealistic thing. Hence He is known as AkkArakkani. He resides in
GadikAchalam. BaddhAtma can never burn the karma through out the life and also
in different births. But if that soul gets an opportunity
to be present in this achalam for even 1 Nazhigai (not even an hour, 2.5
nazhigai = 1 hour), it can shed off all its pApam. Such is the power of
this Divya Desam. Azhwars have given the name as ThakkAn, MikkAn and
AkkArakkani. Perumal's ThriunAmam is Yoga Narasimhar. ThayAr is
Amritabalavalli ThAyAr. The utsavar down the hill is known as AhUya Rakshagan
(One who call us and blesses us). Hanuman is worshipping this PerumAl
with the Sangu and Chakram granted by PerumAl Himself. This Divya Desam is
called as Thirukkadikai in our sampradayam. It is also known as
Sholingur.
It is beileved that if one is not able to do GayA
Shrardham, it is more beneficial to do in ThakkAn kulam here. Swamy
DhoddaiyAchar was a Great Mahan who performed Kaimkaryam to this
PerumAl.
Swamy Nammazhwar says,
If I get a chance to worship MikkAn anytime, I will not need
anything more at any point of time after that except just His
anubhavam.
aDiyEn rAmAnuja dAsan,
