Adiyen, Namaskaram!
As for as considered about fasting on "Ekaadasi",
one should not take or consume anything including
fruits or drinking juices or EVEN WATER!
For the persons who are very weak, or elder persons
can take some fruits and water in Ekaadasi time!

Since it is beleived that the Lord Sriman Narayanan
himself, undergoing fasting during Ekaadasi days, then
we can think about the holyness of the day.
Hence it is better not to consume or intake anykind
of food during these days, except water if you are
working person. If you are weaker or elder then you
can take some fruits and water.

For attaining the Lord LOTUS feet, we should not
consider other's habit or tellings. Since this is
KALIYUGA, most of the people wont follow the exact
tradition to be followed and they refrain themselves
from that, by saying some irrelevant history.
If you do with sincere dedication and devotion to
Him, then the sure way to attain the heaven!

If there's any mistake on my views please forgive me,
your comments are also most welcome! Adiyen studying
in college as a PG student. Thanx,,,
urs
senthil.
