Dear

The Purattasi
Sravanam is a great Sravanam. Bhagavan becomes happy when he looks at
the lotus face of great Acharyas and listen to them to bless the jivatma.
Bhagavan even waiting for the words of great bhagavatas and acharyas.
Purattasi Sravanam is a great occasion since both Parabrahma and great
Acharyan celebrate their birthdays. Acharya Sarvabhouma Swami Desikan

*Almost all his works

*His house, the
Divya mangala vigraham (Panchaloka idol) and the (water) well that he
constructed/made are even now preserved with great devotion in Tiruvahindra

* Everyone can have
the darsan of Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva in Tiruvahindra puram that was given by
Lord Garuda himself in person to Swami Desikan.

gold.
*He rejected
the offer from Vijayanagara Kingdom to become one of the scholar in the
royal and replied that Kanchipuram Sri. Varadaraja is his great grandfather's
propertity.
*He
composed books on Vedanta, Drama in Sanskrit, Tamil Prabhandhams,
Stotras in Sanskrit, a great epic Yadavabhyudaya and other
works following the foot print of Bhagavad Bhashyakara (Sri
Ramanujacharya).
*He was a great
Sanskrit scholar and Tamil Poet. He was praised as "Santa-migu tamizmarayon" one who is
capable of composing tamil poetry in atractive rythem.
*He composed "paduka
sahasram" which describes the greatness of the holy sandals of Lord Ranganatha
in 1008 sanskrit slokas just in one night.
*He had used varities
of style in composing slokas in Chitra paddhati in Paduka
sahasram.
*He was conferred
"Vedantadesika" "Sarva thantra
svathantrar" and other titles.
*The first pontiff of
Sri Parakalamuth, Sri Brahma thantra Parakala Swami was his
disciple.
*Sri Brahma Thantra
Parakala Swami of Sri Parakalamuth composed the holy sloka "Ramanuja dayaa
paatram".
*His greatness is
endless.
*He lived for and as
per Ramanuja darsanam.
*He always remembered
Lord Hayagriva and Ramanujacharya in all his works.
