(thinnanUr) is a divyadesam, around 35 KMs from Chennai city.
This beautiful, picturesque divyadesam is in the midst of green lush
fields - ThiruvaLar sOlai, being Thiru ninRa vUr - of Pallava nadu.
2. http://www.pbase.com/svami/image/57544532 This
divyadesam is right under the control of Sri HH Periya jeeyar swamy of
Thirumalai. ('kaRavaigaL pin-senRu gAnam'... is the bonus)
Thirumangai mannan has done mangalasasanam do this perumal. The
legend goes like this, when Thirumangai Azhwar visited this place for
mangalasasam, perumal was inside the "Thirai". Hence Thirumangai azhwar
went away. Thayar "ordered" perumal to definetly get a pasuram from
Azhwar.
The legend goes that Lord went in chase of AzvAr to
get a pAsuram. It is now that we find that EmperumAn went on the
Periya ThiruvaDi to get hold of the fast-moving AzhvAr.
5. Hence perumal
had to literally chase to catch Azhwar http://www.pbase.com/svami/image/57544536
, not before he reached Thirukkadal mallai otherwise called as
Mahabalipuram. He got a pasuram and returned back with joy. But
unfortunately thayar was thinking again. When the other divyadesams are
having tons of pasurams how can you get satisfied with a lone pasuram.
Please get back and get more..... Came the sharp reply.

again runs behind azhwar, by this time Azhwar has
reached Thirukkanamangai. He gets one more pasuram and gets back to
this divyadesam.
Perumal is known for Vatsalyam towards his
bhaktas.
Perumal has got a mangalasasanam in SriVishuSahasranam also.
