One fine day, a man was walking along the forest. Suddenly, a tiger started
chasing him. He started to run to escape from the clutches of tiger. Due to
panic, he did not notice a big well in front of him. Hence, he almost fell into
the well. Luckily, he got hold of a tree branch. He could have jumped into the
well, but could not do so as it was not with water, but with cobras. He could
not climb up the well as tiger was waiting for him. Meanwhile, a rodent was
eating away the branch that he was holding to. Hence, the tree was also about
to break off. In the middle of all this, he was completely struck with no clue.
There was a small Then koodu (Honey nest) on the tree. A bee was hitting that
nest. A small drop of honey fell down, and the man was able to taste it. He was
trying to enjoy the taste of that honey in the midst of all this panic.

By the time we finish reading this story, we would have easily related this
story to something in our life. This story completely picturises the state of a
soul caught in samsArA. We all know that, and hence have completely surrendered
to SriyaPathi thorugh our AchAryan. Still, we need to discharge our duties in
this life till we attain the state of mOksham.

Is there a possiblity for us to enjoy the bhOgam that we get in the state of
mOkshA while we are in this BhoolOkam? Is it logically viable when compared to
sAstra vAkyams. SAstra vAkyams say that the soul that has reached the state of
mOksham never comes back to this samsArA, and hence it cannot talk about the
bhOgam in SriVaikuntam. Similarly, souls in samsArA cannot talk about the
bhOgam that can be experienced in SriVaikuntam.

If we logically look at a place that is full of bhOgam, the tattvams linked to
that place should also be full of bhOgam, or rather completely contribute to
the bhOgam of that place. IswarA, by Himself is bhOgam, irrespective of kAlam
and dEsam. For cit (sentient) and acit (non-sentient), this is not true. The
only place we know where all three are in bhOgam is SriVaikuntam, which is not
part of this samsAric world. There is another place, where all the three
tattvams are in complete bhOgam. This is quite different from SriVaikuntam in
the sense that cit and acit in this place are even in samsAric world.

What is this place? Why is it called as bhOga mandapam? Who did service to
PerumAl there? Who did anuvartanam to that mahAn?

Let us enjoy the answers to these questions in the next few postings under,

?bhOga mandapathil veenaiyum kaiyumAna antharangarai mAhA muni anuvartitta
kramam?

aDiyEn,

ramanan
