Every time we board a plane, catch a cab or bus,
hitch
>hike a ride, we're entrusting our lives to nameless
>strangers? We trust that they'll take us to our
>destination safely.
>
>Every time we take out an insurance policy or open a
>banking account, we trust (nameless strangers again)
>that they'll safeguard our money and won't cheat on us?
>
>Every time we hire a babysitter or leave the kids a
>creche, we trust that they'll be safe and well-cared
>for?
>
>Every time we eat out we trust that we won't be
>poisoned?
>
>Every time we go to a hospital we trust that the
>doctors will give us the best possible care and will
>cure us of whatever?
>
>The list goes on....the operative word here is trust.
>Everything runs on it - insurance companies, credit
>card companies, bank loans... We trust cab drivers,
>pilots, bank officials, insurance men - people we
>don't even know, and people, who probably couldn't
>care less about us.
>
>Yet when it comes to letting go and surrendering to
>the Master, the Supreme Lord, whose love for us is so
overwhelmingly
>evident, unconditional and unceasing, we hesitate and hem and
>haw and hold ourselves back.
>
>Now what kind of warped logic is that ? !
