Dear Baagavadhathomas,
I have a doubt on the position of
Thiruvadi(Anjaneyar) in our sampradayam.
I have seen in most of the old (Sri Vaishnavite)
temples the Anjaneyar sannadhi is placed out side the temple only. Eg.
Thiruvallikeni, Thiruneermalai, Madhuranthakam, (even Namakkal where these days
Anjaneyar is more popular than Nrusimar or Ranganathar of that kshetram). While
naming children we name them after alwars, acharyas, perumal, Ilaya perumalbut
only maadhwas have the practise of naming thier children after
Anjaneyar(hanumantha rao etc.,)
Will the erudite scholars of the list please
enlighten me about the significance of Anjaneyar in our Sri
Sampradaya.
Why are there no significant Ramar templesin the
108 divya desams(particularly in south India) In popular divya desams, ramar
Sannidhis only seems like a later addition, is this only my impertinant thought
or is there any significance behind this.
I will be greatful if my confusion is cleared by
you.
