Sri: SrimathE Gopaladesika mahadesikaya nama: Dearest all, Even though the mother complains about the daughter, she is proud in her mind that she is devoted and is love with the Sarvagnan. Perhaps she felt that she is committing bhAgawatha apacharam by scolding the daughter and hence now she praises the daughter in the 20th verse. thOraaLum vaaLarakkan selvam maaLath thennilangai munmalangach senthee olgi, pEraaLa Nnaayiram vaaNan maaLap porukadalai yaraNkadandhu pukku mikka paaraaLan, paaridandhu paarai yuNdu paarumizhndhu paaraLandhu paarai yaaNda pEraaLan, pErOthum peNNai maNmEl perunthavatthaL enRallaal pEsa laamE? 20 thErALum vaaL arakkan â The charioteer and the raakshasa who had the sword by name Chandra haasam selvam maaLa â with all his kingdom and wealth getting destroyed then ilankai â the most beautiful lanka residents are all mun kalanga â grief stricken (even much ahead of time with) sem thee olgi- the fire engulfed the whole city from Hanumanâs tail fire.. (Not at all) The raakasasan (Raavananâs) chariot is referred to as the great chariotâs owner. The chariot, the charioteer, the dhanus, the horse, elephants and the weapons along with raakshasa are all crushed in the battle by Lord Raama. Thus along with his wealth, Raavana also got himself destroyed. During bANAsura, sivan, Subramanya (muruga), PiLLayar and Shakti all came in support for the asura and he was the devotee of Rudran. They could not stand against KaNNan. As mentioned in Srimad Bhagawatha, finally, as requested by Rudra praying to Krishna, He spared the asura cutting the 1000 shoulders of the asura sparing his life. Thus the Supremacy of Krishna is again distinct. perunthavatthaL- being aware that Sri MahavishNu is the unparalleled Lord â Paratahvam and being ParamaikAnthin â having unflinching faith on Him and Him alone, desirous of Him and Him alone. Thus desirous of Him as the Only Purusha and singing in praise of Him and attempting to unite with Him â obviously is the most appropriate thing and she is highly blessed and most fortunate to have such a mind set. Thus the mother praises her daughter and she (the mother as well) is also benefited and is blessed now.
