Dear Sri.Prasad, You differ from me because you are arguing from a premise ("pramANam") different from mine. I have already explained that the basis of my conviction is what has been stated by SriRamanujAchAryA in his 'saraNAgati-gadyam' where the Almighty categorically assures the surrendering 'jivAtmA' by telling it: "nitya-kainkarya-bhavishyasi"... i.e. "Don't worry, I shall grant you in your after-life the supreme state of eternal servitude to ME in my kingdom (parama-padam)". I have no reasons to disbelieve my 'pUrvAchAryan'. My 'achAryA' also had no reasons whatsoever to disbelieve Ranganathan of SriRangam. The 'saraNAgati gadyam' has over the centuries become a testament of faith for many people like me who try, as much as possible, to follow srirAmAnuja's pathway. I accept the 'saraNAgati-gadyam' as valid scripture. If you do not, then there is nothing you and I can discuss further. All other points of discussion raised by you are extraneous to the subject. So I think it is better we please leave it at that. Thank you, Sir, Regards, dAsan, Sudarshan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Buy the perfect holiday gifts at Yahoo!
