OM NAMO NARAYANAYA. SRIMATHE RAMANUJAYA NAMAHA. Dear Bhagavathas, One can well understand the longing of a Devotee when he feels separated from Emberumaan. Our Acharyas, Azhwars and Bhagavathas have time and again taught us that EMBERMAAN IS EVER PRESENT - EVERY WHERE, especially in the heats of His Bhaktas. Bhakta Prahalaada established that EMBERMAAN IS PRESENT everywhere and at all times beyond doubt. Such being the case, why then we should ever feel that we are separated from HIM. THIRUVARANGATHU AMUDHANAAR has conclusively told in RAMANUJA NOOTRANTHADHI that : " IRUPPIDAM VAIKUNTHAM VENKATAM MAALIRUNJOLAI ENNUM PORUPPIDAM MAAYANUKKU ENBAR NALLOR AVAI THANNODUM VANDHU IRUPPIDAM MAYAN RAMANSAN MANATHU INDRU AVAN VANDHU IRUPPIDAM ENDHAN ITHAYUTHULLE THANAKKU INBURAVE." So long as one has the Blessings of the Lord and keeps chanting His Divya Namas OR keeps remembering HIS DIVYA ROOPAS , The LORD is always with us at all times and all places. There is no need to carry His Photo or anything physically with us as HE is Happily Enjoying residing in our Hearts. Adiyen Ramanuja Dasan, Kombur Vankeepuram Madhavan. HH PoundarIkapuram Andavan has written on ther vaibhavam of SaaLagrama AarAdhanai in the PeraruLALan journal . SrIman Narasimhan of Bangalore has sent them to me . Those articles would be most interstign with quotations from authentic sources. A direct answer to your question would be to state that the asuddhi of the work environment that one can not control from an AchAram point of view would recommend against the travel of the Saaligraa Moortham to work areas . One will be wearing shoes to work and carrying the Sacred Moorthams with shoes on while transporting yourself in public and private vehicles is not also recommended. The best place is the box (Petti) in which the Moorthy reside at home in PoojA room and perform aarAdhanam there after bath and sandhyA vandhanam .
