Dear Sri Prabhakar, My views on incarnation. Bible and other religious texts are all come under paurusheya works which has lot of limitations in veracity of its context. We Indians view/grasp ideas from such agama in the light of what apourusheya shruti says as shruti is infallible and authorless(thus does not has defects that an author possess). So, if any agama is in line with and giving out the meanings same as vedas, we take it, else we drop it. There are sadagamas and duragamas likewise. 1 - 3: If god forgives sins committed in one birth and sends him to heaven there would be no concept of hell. As far as I think christianity has a concept of Hell. Going by one birth theory, and the 'assured moksha' for all, the world may witness more of sinners than human beings. There is the flaw. As far as reincarnation is concerned, I think it is a very loosely translated word of 'avatar'. Incarnation is process whereby an entity(Lord) beyond the cycle of births/deaths takes a form which is aprakruthik, to mingle with prakruthik entities. The purpose is to restore world order and to protect good souls. Thus Janma and the incarnation is entirely two different aspects, just like jeeva and paramathma. I think it is only incarnation and why to get confused with the word - reincarnation. But we do have rebirth concept. The best option is to refer Bhagavadgita in which we can elicit enough information on these things. But much depends on how he takes our words, as he may not have 'adhikara'(fittedness) to enther to know or to appreciate the esoteric tenets of our infallible apourusheya text. regards sukumar --- In SriRangaSri@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "chandrahasan prabhakar" <cprabhakar@...> wrote: > > Hi , This is Prabhakar.
