The Sitting Room

Reagan's mother, Nelle, kept her new and prized Singer sewing machine in the sitting room. The room meant some financial security for the family, for they could allow a boarder to live in it if they needed to.

Reagan remembered a bowl of popcorn frequently sat on a table in the room.
