  Use white space
Handling white space properly can help fight clutter on your web pages. Leaving a little space between visual elements can pay off big time when the user checks out your site. Everything looks better.

The best way to create white space horizontally is to use the <p> and <br> tags. This creates space between paragraphs and images. To create vertical space, use tables! In your <table> tag, add the cellpadding option to increase the space between the element and the cell wall.

<table border=1 cellpadding=0>
<tr><td bgcolor=#ccffcc>
sounds of science...
</td></tr>
</table>

<table border=1 cellpadding=9>
<tr><td bgcolor=#ccffcc>
shadrach...
</td></tr>
</table>
