Write good text links
When creating navigation links, be brief and to-the-point. Avoid wordiness. Don't make users read something like click here to get to ducks and cheese. The link should just say ducks and cheese.
At the same time, be sure to choose words that convey what the reader can expect on the other end of the hyperlink. Cute or vague links don't work either. Users want to know exactly where they're going before they click a link. The link language should entice the reader to click, and the link itself should deliver on the promise.
