UNC-TSA is a student organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We currently have over 40 members. This year we have Sumeth Suwanpusaporn (Ball – M) as the president. He plays a major role in organizing events and distribute information to the members. TSA’s advisor is Dan Gold, an Assistant Director of Asia initiatives in the UNC Study Abroad Office.

Mr.Dan GoldUNC-TSA is founded to expand Thai scholar network and cooperation. We promote connections between schools of Thai students, to take care of newcomer, and to provide a means of contact to Thai students.

In addition, our goal aims to support Thai community and promote Thai culture to the university as well as local community. Throughout the year, we organize community activities such as our traditional Thai Night event, pot luck party, UNC-Duke-NC State Thai party, and so on.
