Customer Service Information for Excavating Occaneechi Town

The information here may help answer some questions you may have about this CD-ROM.

Classroom Use: The CD-ROM may be adopted for classroom use and an order placed for it just as a book. Bookstores will receive their customary discount from the list price of $39.95.

Because the CD-ROM does not come in a networked version, each enrolled student will need to purchase a copy (the price is $39.95) if it is required for a course. (If, as a professor, you are only interested in a networked version, please send us your name, address, and phone number. UNC Press will notify you later if a networked version becomes available.)

A professor may receive an examination copy of the CD-ROM according to the terms of our UNC Press clothbound policy:

    1. The CD-ROM may be purchased from UNC Press using a credit card or check at a 20% discount plus postage.
    2. After the end of 60 days, the CD-ROM may be returned to UNC Press for a full credit or refund if you decide not to adopt it for a course or not to keep it for yourself.
    3. If you decide to adopt it and an order has been placed for 10 or more copies of the CD-ROM, the CD-ROM may be kept as a desk copy and UNC Press will credit your charge card account or send you a refund.

If you are purchasing for a library or school, see Note to Educators for more information about how to use the CD-ROM for teaching.

Warranty: If the CD-ROM is defective, the disc may be returned and UNC Press will replace it free of charge.

Return policy: The CD-ROM may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase (unless this was purchased as an examination copy as outlined in our policy above).

Technical support: The answer to many technical questions about the CD-ROM can be found on the CD-ROM itself, in the README.TXT file and the Online HELP. Also visit the Technical Support area on our Excavating Occaneechi Town web site. Here the user will have unlimited access to technical solutions and troubleshooting tips. Additional technical support is available by posting an inquiry by email to occanee@sunsite.unc.edu or by faxing to (919) 966-3829.
