To my dear and divinely inspired friends--
Thanks for responding to my apology (however half assed) with such
understanding and kindness. I've been struggling with pride, anger and
apologies since grade school. My progress is slow. But your
generousity and friendly encouragement reminds me that love is more
powerful than anger. Reading Marcus' posts about the age old conflict
among Christians, Jews and Moslems in the Middle East also reminds me how
important it is not to lose our common faith in love. I think it is love
that helps us to see ourselves in others and others in ourselves. My
anger only seems to separate me from others and make me even more
frustrated and discouraged. All of which is what my fifth grade teacher
(and many other kind folks) told me way back when. My progress is slow,
but hope springs eternal.
So, thanks again.
Love,
Jim Piat
