those who are waiting for us to "turn on each other" must not have heard of
the five hour lines of blood donators here in NYC.

Those who are dwelling over Percy's observations about "feeling good" in
times of trauma may do more good by getting on a blood donation line. Maybe
Ill see you there tomorrow. Its time to act and not philosophize.

as far as an attack on america, who cares what CNN calls it? who cares about
how its presented to you? obviously you can see past it anyway. just look at
the images. your country, where you live, where you practice your unique
morality without fear and discuss it at length on forums like this one, was
indeed attacked...unless you have a better way to see it. it was not only
the world trade center anyway. we were attacked by a people who has been at
war with a country whos people are complacent, and feel safe enough to not
think about their loved ones' safety, but rather the safety of japanese, and
iraquis.

STILL FEEL SAFE?

Its incredible that at this time, all I get from this forum is complaint
over news coverage, percy obverservations on the human condition, and a "we
deserve this" sentiment.

What are you going to DO about it?
