Someone mentioned pornography on the net a few posts ago, and I think
Percy
would be intrigued by the angelism/bestialism aspect of the net. It's a
medium that provides a kind of transcendence--of local identity, of normal
conceptions of space, etc.--but what is the leading use all of this
'freedom' is put to? Feeding the virtual flesh. All those sallow-skinned
webheads desperate for reentry?
