End of an era in Women\’s Soccer

The U-S Women’s Soccer team play Brazil today in the gold medal game at the Athens Olympics. They got to the finals by beating Germany earlier this week. The gold medal game will be the last one for players Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy, Brandi Chastain, Kristine Lilly and Joy Faucett. They’ve all decided to retire from soccer after today’s match. WUNC\’s Eric Hodge spoke with their former coach Anson Dorrance on the balcony outside his office overlooking Carolina’s soccer field.
