Middle Eastern Business Women at Duke

THE U-S STATE DEPARTMENT IS SPONSORING A NEW PROGRAM IT SAYS WILL HELP IMPROVE ECONOMIC, POLITICAL AND EDUCATIONAL REFORM EFFORTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST. OFFICIALS SAY ONE WAY OF ACCOMPLISHING THIS GOAL IS BY EXPANDING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN AND YOUTH. FORTY-TWO WOMEN FROM COUNTRIES INCLUDING IRAQ, SAUDI ARABIA AND YEMEN ARRIVED IN THE UNITED STATES EARLIER THIS MONTH TO LEARN MORE ABOUT WESTERN BUSINESS CULTURE. WUNC’S LEONEDA INGE REPORTS:
