
Dr. Zellig Bach is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology of the American Board of Professional Psychology and a psychoanalytically oriented therapist. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, Phi Delta Kappa, and other scientific societies.
A former co-editor of a daily Yiddish newspaper in Lithuania, he published extensively, since coming to the United States, in both Yiddish and English in a variety of genres, from lighthearted feullietons to serious articles on issues of psychology, education, and language. He also serves on the editorial boards of the literary Yiddish quarterly Afn Shvel and of the journal Psychotherapy in Private Practice.
Dr. Bach is the recipient of the 1972 Distinguished Achievement Award from the Educational Press Association of America and of the 1990 Media Award from the New Jersey Psychological Association.
