Re: search for blueprints

Darlene:

Try contacting Mainline Modeler magazine in Washington State (sorry, can't
recall their town -- northeast of Seattle) and ask editor, Robert Hundman if
he has any leads. Bob has put out some of the best redrawn locomotive plans
I've seen; he also may be able to link you with Tom Dressler, who has
written for the same mag. Tom is a recognized N&W historian in his own
right, and may have further information or leads.

In my past experience as an curatorial/archives assistant at California
State Railroad Museum, I never was able to learn what N&W didi with all
their technical records, plans, etc., upon closing out their steam
locomotive operations era.

If you can't locate MM magazine easily, phone around to locate a hobby shop
which carries the leading railroad modeling and history magazines.

Good luck! (And if you do find an N&W cache, please advise me?)
