Re: damp papers

If these documents are going to be around for a while under their retention
schedule you might want to air dry. You could take them a box at a time, put
the documents in a plastic milk crate and put in front of a fan. You might
also put some spacers throughout to get more air flow across the documents.
This presumes you have a low humidity environment to work in. The other choice
would to be put them in plastic milk crate and freeze. If they are just
damp(ish) the water should sublimate fairly quickly in a frost-free freezing
