Re: Campbell, Basics of Verbal Aspect, 2nd edition

James, thanks for the link. I am currently reading the first edition of Campbell's work. Would you care to summarize what you see as the differences between his and Runge's views, and in what ways R. is better? I am just getting started learning about the current linguistics views on this subject. S...

Yes, I fear I'll never be able to purchase any of the Göttingen volumes. Meanwhile, I'll happily use the Cambridge ones. Thanks, Jean.

Many thanks, James. Do you know if the entire set is available in public domain?

Jean, the work you linked to on archive.org looks very useful for textual criticism. What is the title?

Re: Feedback on criteria for posting books here

By all means include those new titles that deal with Greek outside Koine. Many of us are interested in the dialects and literature that preceded Koine. Many of us are interested in Patristics as well. Especially those of us interested in CI/SLA approaches to Greek pedagogy and learning want to see m...

Re: Feedback on criteria for posting books here

Thanks, Matthew. As I am interested in Ben Sira (Am planning on returning to reading him next year, after reading the first 11 chapters awhile back), this should be a helpful resource. While Muraoka's work is outstanding, his for purchase volumes are normally outside my budget.

Re: Feedback on criteria for posting books here

I second what Mike said, Matthew. Even though I normally don't have the means to buy them, it's useful to know about the titles. I may get to see them in a library at some point. Mike, you mentioned that you have free access to read the Brill titles. Is that through an academic institution, or by su...

Re: Ephesians 2:8 - τοῦτο...τὸ δῶρον

You may not have understood Jason. He is pointing out that in this case τουτο helps us see that its antecedent must be neuter, not feminine. If πιστις were the gift, Paul would likely have written αυτη not τουτο, since πιστις is feminine.
