Greetings!
It seems that ἐφοβοῦντο γάρ is a complete sentence and γάρ is a post-positive work, but is it normal for a Greek work to end γάρ? If it is, I know that will not settle the debate as to where the Gospel of Mark originally ended, but I am wondering if it would be a normal ending?

"but he passed through their midst and went on his way. " NASB, 2020 I know that an imperfect means something not finished yet or continuing or repeating. I was wondering if ἐπορεύετο is a continual "continued on his ...

Luke 18:11
Greetings! I wondering if "πρὸς ἑαυτὸν ταῦτα προσηύχετο" just means he was praying silently or in a...

Romans 14:14
Greetings! In another forum I belong to, someone is arguing that κοινόν simply means "common," while others say that it means "unclean." LSJ states that th...

Re: 1 Cor. 15:8 — Paul and the abortion
The "Middle Liddell" edition of the LSJ does states, "ἔκτρωμα, τό, a child untimely born, an abortion, N. T."
I do not know if and how it is used in other writings.

Re: Luke 12:20: 3rd pl. pres. ind. act. of ἀπαιτέω
I have read that Luke is one of the better writers of Greek in the New Testament, so wouldn't he have used a passive ending of ἀπαιτέω if it was mean to be in the passive?
