Re: What software doesn't do ....

When I work with a text, I like to have the text up front and center. I'd like to be able to add notes to the text, do searches and incorporate the results, etc. In other words, I'd like a good word processor for Greek texts, extended with the tools typically found in Bible software. I'd also like t...

Re: Working Papers in Greek Language & Linguistics

For projects in this forum, I don't think it matters so much where the results are published, as long as they are published on the Internet somewhere, for free, with appropriate intellectual property rights (e.g. a Creative Commons license). Which Bible Study Software?

What Bible Study software do you use? I once used Gramcord extensively, but I haven't been able to use it since I switched to Linux. And I've been missing it ever since. It's been a long time - is Gramcord still widely used? I currently do morphological searches the hard way, using XQuery and a morp...

Does pronunciation matter? If so, why?

Does it really matter which pronunciation someone uses, as long as they have some intelligible way to pronounce Greek? If so, why? Would it be wrong to simply adopt modern Greek pronunciation, since that's the community most likely to actually speak Greek these days? And the one you are most likely ...
