Adverbs
I find not many grammars cover adverbs. Young talks about them modifying verbs, adjectives, or adverbs and that the adverb generally precedes the word it modifies. My question is, if the adverb is adjacent to and precedes a verb, adjective, or adverb, would the word it precedes always be the word th...

Grammar on Verbs
What is the best book that goes in depth on verbs and tenses outside the indicative and also the significance.
I have found most books don’t go to far in depth.
Thanks,

Article with Events
I’ve read several books now by Christian authors, they don’t claim to be experts on Greek, but basically they say if an event is mentioned in Greek and has an article it must have a previous reference. Whether previously mentioned in that book or any other book in the Bible. I’m interested to hear o...

Articles that don't match adjacent word
What is the significance when an article is followed by another noun that does not match in case, number and gender? Is there a specific grammar rule for this? Such as Καισαρείας τῆς Φιλίππου in Matthew 16:13 Ἐλθὼν δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὰ μέρη Καισαρείας τῆς Φιλίππου ἠρώτα τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ λέγων Τίνα λ...

Can verbs have a case?
In Basics of Biblical Greek, Dr. Mounce said "verbs do not have case or gender"
However, wouldn't this be incorrect if the verb is articular?
For instance in 1 Thessalonians 1:10 τὸν ῥυόμενον, wouldn't ῥυόμενον be considered being in the Accusative case based on τὸν?
Thanks for the help!

definite article
In Koine is the definite article use ever indefinite? Ie. If they were just using it as a function marker.
A follow up to that. If an article is uses with a noun regarding an event, would that always be considered a one time event?
Thanks!
