γεωργέω is one of those words that swapping the gamma’s pronunciation to a “y” due to the epsilon following it seems a bit odd to me. According to Buth’s scheme this would be right I am sure that my hesitancy is just because I learned it originally with a “g”. For my sanity’s sake though, according to this scheme both gammas should be pronounced with a y or am I missing something?
I am also not totally sure what the rule is when an epsilon or iota a double gamma γγ. Surely the final doesn’t get moved to a “y” and instead retains its “g” sound? εὐαγγέλιον
