Paul, the table is nice and the space is helpful.Paul-Nitz wrote:Using Infinitives for Principal Parts
I’m not sure if it would be good to list principal parts by infinitive. It would show rare or theoretical forms. But I do believe it would work as far as showing stem changes, except for maybe the Middle Perfect. Maybe I've got the wrong forms in the examples below.
I’ve organized the two examples by the 3-pattern system 1) ειν-σαι, 2) -σθαι, 3) θηναι. It seemed to work out better than either listing –θῆναι pattern at the end of both the κοινη (Active) and εαυτικη (Middle/pass) lists, or having one long list that would include all three patterns.
-ειν, -σαι παράδειγμα
-εσθαι, -ασθαι παράδειγμα

Infin_______φέρειν_________οἴσειν________ἐνέγκαι_________ἐνηνοχέναι-θῆναι παράδειγμα
- Indic_______φέρομαι_______οἴσομαι_______ἠνεγκάμην______ἐνήνεγμαι
Infin_______φέρεσθαι______οἴσεσθαι______ἐνεγκέσθαι______ἐνηνόχθαι

Infin_______γράφειν________γράψειν_______γράψαι________γεγραφέναι-θῆναι παράδειγμα
- Indic_______γράφομαι______γράψομαι______ἐγραψάημν____γέγραμμαι
Infin_______γράφεσθαι_____γράψεσθαι_____γράψασθαι_____γεγράφθαι

Infin__________________________________γραφῆναι [/size]
Is there an easy way to prioritize the aorist for the eyes?
PS: ἐνέγκασθαι, which matches your active choice and indicative middle, though someone probably used ἐνεγκέσθαι too.
Also, some forms start to stretch one's imagination, like ἐνήνεγμαι when one might say ἦγμαι ἦχθαι [ἠγμένος] from ἀγαγεῖν ἄγειν.
