Is anyone aware of a detailed study of the senses of πάλιν? Or of phasal adverbs in general (ἔτι, ἤδη, etc.)?

Does anyone know anything about this new lexicon?

Looks like tool for people who are intimidated by the standard reference works. Those who have been using the lexicons for ages will not need this book. Perhaps it is somewhat like the abbreviated Danker but at 96 pages it can hardly be considered anything more than a handbook. I will lay odds that Jim West will be first in line at Barns and Nobel to get his copy. This is the same G. Beale with the commentary on revelation, right?

I found a Bibliography about Greek Particles (1935-2010) by Martín Páez about this word and other such words here: http://syntaktika.revues.org/120?lang=en

Thanks for posting this comprehensive bibliography.
I discovered the article by Wakker on ἤδη is downloadable from the Syntaktika website

There are also some remarks on ἤδη in Kühner vol 2 §499

OK, I've just checked this book out from the library. It's basically a cross-reference index to BDAG, BAGD, Wallace, and Harris, with some extra symbols for logical relationships tossed in. Aside from providing a list of possible glosses and functions, there is almost no guidance for applying them to any particular context. It is probably the most useless reference book on any aspect of Greek I have ever consulted. I can't recommend it.

Perhaps that helps explain the curious variety of prices listed by Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/psqomo9: $12.96 for the paperback, ($8.01 used!); $9.99 (Kindle),, and, if you choose, you can pay a lot more for other used copies., to name only a few; I suspect that several have bought the book and quickly decided to dump it.

This isn't quite the same thing, and I have only browsed it, but it seems relevant:

Ooops! I should have read that thread again before responding here.
