I received this question from a friend:

Can you recommend a reputable self-paced biblical Greek course either online or via CD/DVD?

I have no idea. I learned a long time ago that I have to have a physical teacher to learn a foreign language. Any suggestions?

Ken

'Self-paced CD course' is almost a description of
Living Koine Greek, 3parts, with everything recorded in mp3.

Hello, Randall! How can I order your materials from Egypt? In your on-line store there is no shipping to Egypt option. Thank you!

I would be interested in testimonials from people who have (a) used Living Koine Greek for self-study or (b) used Living Koine Greek as the main textbook for a taught course.

I think the best thing you can do is order David Alan Black's Greek DVDs. The 24 DVD set features David Black teaching New Testament Greek following his introductory Greek grammar. The classes were taught in English even though they were recorded before a live audience in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The DVD set can be purchased online at Dave Black Online. You can purchase them at http://www.daveblackonline.com/greek_dv ... ilable.htm. This will definitely help you!
