Post by Stephen Hughes »

I am unable to find an online copy of J.H. Heinrich Schmidt, Synonymik der griechischen Sprache It was published in the late 19th century.

This is pretty cool!

You have a distinct advantage with the German here. It is more exact than I'm used to At best I can scan and know where to dive into the diction-R-E.

I'd like to look at the newly published monolingual dictionary compared with Schmidt and also read a modern appraisal of his methodology.
