Muraoka's LXX lexicon

Post by mikeatnip »

I am wondering if A Greek-English Lexicon of the Septuagint by Muraoka is worth the $$. A very subjective question, of course. I do not see it available in digital except a (presumed) pirated version that can be downloaded for free, which as a follower of Christ I do not want to use illegally. So, the best thing is to ultimately read enough Greek to get an inbuilt sense of what a word means, but until then ... is anyone willing to offer their opinion as to whether this lexicon offers more nuanced direction than the more usual and/or cheaper ones? I have BDAG, LSJ, etc.
Maybe to put it this way: Does this lexicon truly offer nuance between LXX uses and NT or patristic uses?
