Typing in Polytonic Greek in Ubuntu OS

Hello. I usually type Polytonic Greek using Mellel on the Mac OS X Platform with great success. I have been experimenting with typing in LibreOffice found in the Ubuntu OS. Would anyone have full keyboard layout that shows more than just the basic diacritics in Ubuntu/Linux?

I use Fedora (with Gnome3) with the polytonic Greek keyboard which I assume is quite similar - is this not adequate for your needs?
There is also the "compose" key which is worth being aware of (typically right-alt).

These instructions work for me on Fedora 20 using either Gnome or Cinnamon:
