Senior Scholars Discussing the Odyssey

Post by Barry Hofstetter »

Senior scholars reading the Odyssey from the Greek (Gregory Nagy, Douglas Frame and Leonard Muellner). What impresses me is the easy collegiality and the fact that they are having fun with the text. Apparently there is a series of these which you can access easily from the video.

As someone pointed out on Facebook where this was posted (Nerdy Language Majors), it would be fun to seen a similarly qualified team of NT or OT scholars discussing a text...

Doesn't this happen on Zoom daily with all the Greek and Hebrew reading groups popping up all over the place? ;)
