Hello everyone,
I’ve been learning Koine Greek for a while now, and it’s been both rewarding and humbling. Lately, I’ve realized that while I can translate texts fairly well, my biggest challenge is thinking in Greek without mentally switching back to English.
I’d love to hear how others approached this — especially if you managed to develop a more intuitive, language-immersion mindset when reading or speaking Greek.
How long did it take before Greek started feeling “natural” to you?
Did reading aloud, listening to recordings, or daily verse reading help you the most?
Excited to be part of this community and to grow together in understanding the language of the New Testament!
Warm regards,
Olwen Boniface
