Hello!

Post by Susan Griffith »

Hi all! I've taught NT Greek off and on for a couple of decades. My main field of research is patristics. My undergraduate degree is in Classics. I first taught NT Greek in Croatia for a couple of years, using Wenham, with some students translating from Greek to Croatian, I had to learn quickly! Coming to the UK for a doctorate, I met Dr Jeremy Duff and became his research assistant for the update of Wenham, now known as "Duff." All while writing a thesis on Augustine's sermons.

I've taught NT Greek at Oxford and later at the University of Birmingham while on a postdoc as part of the COMPAUL Project at ITSEE. COMPAUL examined patristic citations of the four Pauline Hauptbriefe as early evidence for the text. (See more here:

Currently, I'm teaching NT Greek and other Biblical and patristic topics for Oxford University' Department of Continuing Education, and as an occasional tutor for undergraduates for the Theology and Religion Department of the university.
