Are there any literary metadata in the trees?

Post by Stephen Hughes »

Another question about the trees program; Can it be used to identify words belonging a certain literary functions, such as transition words (aka conjunctive adverbs or connective adverbs, e.g. "first", "then", "finally"). In other words, are those type of literary construction metadata included in the code?

No - but you can certainly use that kind of word list in queries that you apply to the tree. For example, you could look for phrases with conjunctions in any list of words that you have.
