I would understand τὸ περισσεῦσαν αὐτοῖς ("what leftovers they had"-- more 'literally' "that which exceeded for them") as the subject of ἤρθη, and κλασμάτων κόφινοι δώδεκα as a nominative appositive to τὸ περισσεῦσαν.Jonathan Robie wrote:Why is ἤρθη active singular here?
