Is there any evidence that what the noun πειρασμός refers to in Matt. 6:13//Lk. 11:4 (καὶ μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν) is the place where the Wilderness generation put God to the test and is named πειρασμὸς in the LXX (Exod.

Your question implies that you think there might be. If so, what indication do you see? Is there anything that clearly points back to Exodus 17? I'm inclined to think there isn't, it says τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δὸς ἡμῖν σήμερον, not δὸς ἡμῖν ὕδωρ, ἵνα πίωμεν (which would refer back to Exodus 17).

Isn't the name in Ex 17:7
πειρασμὸς καὶ λοιδόρησις not just
Thx
