Dear listmembers,
Little Greek or a lot of Greek, I do not want to choose here.
There is however a series of phaenomena that should be known thoroughly in
both options. If not, one can not judge important differences in meaning:
- the article: the difference between the use of it and its absence, notably
in the predicate
- prepositions with their cases
- the difference between present, impecfect, aorist, perfect and
plusquamperfect
- not to forget the difference between the imperative of present and aorist
- the difference between the 2nd person singular and plural
- the use of a good dictionary for word study
- bringing back conjugated or declinated forms to the form one finds in the
dictionary
