Consider this: would EIS EUAGGELION QEOU in verse 1 be
"a gospel of God?"

The absence of the article itself would not denote an
indefinite idea. There are other factors to consider.
GRAFAIS hAGIAIS has a definite referent. It should be
translated "in the sacred scriptures" (a reference to
what is now known as the Old Testament).
