First, my apologies if the question is inappropriate for this forum.
I should be very grateful for help with an inscription. I'm not sure if this is NT Greek but is found inside the Holy Sepulchre Church in Jerusalem on the altar at the site of Golgotha:
QEORRYTW aIMATI KENWTHENTI DESPOTH (XRIS???) The final word is partially obscured in the photograph.
The lower case 'a' in the second letter is because the letter in the inscription is one I don't recognize: it is like a reverse, lower case 'h' with a sloping line running from the vertical stroke across to the smaller leg at the bottom of the letter. Another way to describe it would be a reverse lower case 'k' in cursive writing.
Many thanks for any help you may be able to give.
